Workshop Will Include:

• Studio discussion of techniques & materials
• On-location set-up and demonstration
• Instruction in underpainting techniques
• Training in effective use of pastels

Materials List:

• 2 brushes - one small (about 1/2"), one large (up to 2")
• Lidded jar filled with water (big enough to wash brush)
• Travel easel (I have some to loan- but ask in advance for availability)
• 2 sheets 24 x 30 Museum Board
• Acrylic paint (at least a basic set of 6 colors)
• Pastels - (at least a dozen assorted dark and light colors)
• Drawing board to fit paper
• Masking tape
• Palette (white - for mixing paint colors)

Personal Items:

• Sunscreen
• Hat
• Water
• Lunch
• Satchel for supplies
